     David I. Barton was born on 13 April 1844.¹ He was the son of Joseph Barton and Morning Cannon.¹

     Sarah Barton was born circa 1848.¹ She was the daughter of Joseph Barton and Morning Cannon.¹

     James Cannon married Mary Capeheart.¹ James Cannon was born in 1783 at SC.¹ He died on 10 July 1855.¹ He was buried after 10 July 1855 at Morgan Family Cemetery, Pickens, SC.¹

     Mary Capeheart married James Cannon.¹ Her married name was Cannon.¹ Mary Capeheart was born circa 1780.¹ She died on 9 November 1857.¹ She was buried after 9 November 1857 at Morgan Family Cemetery, Pickens, SC.¹

In the name of God, Amen! I, John R.M. Cannon of Oconee Cou
nty in the State of South Carolina, being of sound and disp
osing mind, but considering the uncertainty of life do make
, ordain and publish my last will and testament, as follow
s to wit.
1. I desire my executrix henceinafter named as soon as prac
ticable to pay all of my just debts, and to that end I here
by authorize and empower her to sell such personal propert
y as may be necessary therefore and if that be not sufficie
nt there to sell enough real estate to pay them.
2. I will and bequeath all of the balance of my estate, rea
l, personal and mixed, legal and equitable to my wife Naom
i Elizabeth for and during the term of her natural life, wi
th power to advance any of the remainderemen hereinafter me
ntioned to an amount not to exceed the shares to which the
y will be respectively entitled under this will.
3. I will and bequeath to my children of my said wife to wi
t, Miles Norton Cannon, Sarah Elizabeth Brucke, Ruth Caroli
ne Golden, Emily Cannon, William David Cannon, Nancy Adelin
e Cannon and Thomas Franklin Cannon, from and after the dea
th of their mother the estate willed to her, to have and t
o hold the same in fee, share and share alike.
4. The issue of any one or more of the said remaindermen wh
o may be dead at the time when they would otherwise take un
der this will to represent their respective parents as if t
hey took from them under the statue of distributions.
5. I hereby nominate constitute and appoint my said wife, N
aomi Elizabeth Cannon executrix of this my last will and te
stament.
6. I have already advanced my children by my former wife ea
ch more than any of the remaindermen under this will, wil
l receive, therefore, I have not given them anything herein
.
7. Witness my hand and seal this 31st day of March A.D. 188

He was born on 11 February 1811.¹ He was the son of James Cannon and Mary Capeheart.¹ John R. M. Cannon died on 20 March 1888 at Oconee, SC, at age 77.¹

     Ruth Caroline Cannon was born in 1811 at Little River, Oconee, SC.¹ She was the daughter of James Cannon and Mary Capeheart.¹ Ruth Caroline Cannon died in 1886.¹

     Jacob Cannon was born in 1815.¹ He was the son of James Cannon and Mary Capeheart.¹ Jacob Cannon died in 1888 at OK.¹

     Malissa Cannon was born in 1822 at Oconee, SC.¹ She was the daughter of James Cannon and Mary Capeheart.¹ Malissa Cannon was buried in 1871 at Morgan Family Cemetery, Pickens, SC.¹ She died in 1871 at Oconee, SC.¹

     Mary Polly Cannon was born circa 1823 at SC.¹ She was the daughter of James Cannon and Mary Capeheart.¹

     Thomas Dittoe was born in 1837.¹ He was the son of Edward Dittoe.¹

     Lucy Dittoe was born circa 1844.¹ She was the daughter of Edward Dittoe.¹

     Rebecca Dittoe was born circa 1845.¹ She was the daughter of Edward Dittoe.¹ As of 1866,her married name was Ryan.¹

     James Dittoe was born circa 1853.¹ He was the son of Edward Dittoe.¹

     Patrick Dittoe was born circa 1855.¹ He was the son of Edward Dittoe.¹

     Charles Dittoe was born circa 1862.¹ He was the son of Henry Miles Dittoe.¹

     Herman Dittoe was born in September 1869.¹ He was the son of George P. Dittoe and Catherine Flowers.¹

     William H. Dittoe was born in 1816 at OH.^1,2 He was the son of Michael Dittoe and Barbara L. Overmier.¹

     Esther Luella Cook Esther did some family research.¹ Her married name was Mathias.² She married Chester William Mathias, son of William Ferdinand Mathias and Lucy Ellen Moore.² Esther Luella Cook was born on 12 October 1912.¹ She died on 14 October 1998 at age 86.¹

     Maynard P. Moore was born on 17 July 1904 at Cambridge, Guernsey, OH.^3,4 He was the son of Edwin Roy Moore and Pearl Blanche Parker.³ Maynard P. Moore was After father Edwin died, "Uncle Bill Parker took me". circa 1910.⁵ He appeared on the census of 16 April 1930 at 814 Harrison Ave, Cambridge, Guernsey, OH; Maynard P., 25, OH, US, US, occupation not readable but it's at a Glass-works.

Clearly Maynard and Phillip do not know where their parents were born. His Social Security Number was (an unknown value) before 1951 at 279-07-7917, OH.⁴ He lived on 26 July 1981 at FL.⁶ He died on 23 May 1990 at FL? at age 85.^7,8

     Pearl Blanche Parker had many siblings.² Her married name was Moore.¹ She married Edwin Roy Moore.¹ Pearl Blanche Parker died circa 1910; both she and child died in childbirth when Maynard was about age 6.²

     Edwin Roy Moore married Pearl Blanche Parker.¹ Edwin Roy Moore witnessed the death of Pearl Blanche Parker circa 1910; both she and child died in childbirth when Maynard was about age 6.² Edwin Roy Moore The only Ed, Edwin or Roy Moore in Guernsey County in the 1910 Census is Ed Moore, age 52, cook in a Hotel run by John Murray. It says he has been married 24 years, but wife is not shown...so he probably had had a residence elsewhere. This Ed Moore's parents were born in NY. in 1910 at Cambridge, Guernsey, OH.³ He died between 1930 and 1939 at flu epidemic.¹

     Henry Parker was born circa 1847.¹ He began military service circa 1862 joined Union at age 15. Was a drummer and was wounded.¹

      Chester William Mathias was also known as William Chester.^6,4 He married Esther Luella Cook.⁷ Chester William Mathias was born on 11 October 1909 at Lancaster, Fairfield, OH.^8,9,4 He was the son of William Ferdinand Mathias and Lucy Ellen Moore.^3,4,5 His Social Security Number was (an unknown value) before 1951 at 270-18-2320, OH.¹⁰ Chester William Mathias died in May 1971 at Lancaster, Fairfield, at age 61.^3,10,4

     William Ferdinand Mathias lived at PA.¹ William Ferdinand Mathias was also known as Ferdie.⁶ He was divorced by Lucy when in Ohio Pen.⁶ He family believes Chester was at some point incarcerated in the State Penitentiary for unknown reason. at PA or OH.^7,5,6 William Ferdinand Mathias was also known as William Patrick.^3,4,5,6 William Ferdinand Mathias was also known as William F..⁸ William Ferdinand Mathias was also known as Pat.² He and Lucy Ellen Moore (an unknown value) at divorced.^3,5 William Ferdinand Mathias was born on 22 September 1885 at Hocking, OH.^9,3,5,6 He was the son of William Mathias.^2,3,4,5 William Ferdinand Mathias married Lucy Ellen Moore between 1906 and 1910 at Fairfield, OH.^1,8,3,5,6 William Ferdinand Mathias The only William Mathias found in Ohio 1910 census of the approximate age is William, age 24 and wife Mary: roomers in the home of _____ Louise Akins, Alliance, Stark County. in 1910. He married Grace Brown after 1910; William's 2nd wife.³ William Ferdinand Mathias in the 1920 census, USA, there is no Pat or Ferdie Mathias. In Ohio, there is no William Mathias of the right age.
There is, though, a 17 year old of the same name who is step-son of Henry [Brougher?]. in 1920. He was buried in 1955 at with 2nd wife?, Vinton, OH.¹⁰ He died in 1955; (not found in SSDI).¹⁰ He died on 24 December 1959 at age 74; (not found in SSDI).^3,5,6 He was buried after 24 December 1959 at Otterbein Cemetery, Goosecreek Rd., South Bloomingville, Hocking, OH.^5,6
